Revisited goulash

A revisited but quite delicious dish from the famous Hungarian goulash ! Preparation time: 35min - Cooking time: 1h15 - Total time: 1h50

Instructions

  1. Mince the onion. Coarsely chop the pork and the carrots in disc of 1/2 cm. Peel the celery and chop in disc of 1 cm.
  2. In a big pot brown the onion approximately 5 minutes
  3. Lower the heat, add the meat and half of the paprika, simmer covered 6 to 10 minutes
  4. Add the vegetables and if you want the cream. Fill the pot with water to the level of the vegetables and meat.
  5. Simmer covered for at least an hour and stir from time to time
  6. Before the end of the cooking add the cumin, the other half of paprika and seasoning
  7. You can thicken the broth with corn starch if you think it is necessary
  8. In your plate add the fresh coriander and if you want pour some parmesan
You can serve with potatoes, semolina or pasta.
